This charming bakery is run by talented baker Janelle Barnes, originally from New Zealand. The shop is named Sandy after her mother.
Janelle has crafted a menu of simple classics that remind the GenX crowd of our childhoods in the 70s and 80s.

The classic sweets on offer on any given day may include chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles on top, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, lemon and blueberry loaves, and jammy dodgers. Savoury options include cheese scones and soft pretzel with everything bagel seasoning.

There is also a range of cookies and biscuits to take away as well.
But that’s not all—Sandy’s also offers a refreshing selection of tea served in teapots kept warm under the cutest knitted cosies with those retro-style souvenir spoons. Other beverages include filter coffee and a range of cold drinks.

The shop is cozy and inviting, with a rustic feel that makes you feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot to have a chat to Janelle, catch up with friends or to just take a short break for yourself before going back to work.
There is a long table both inside the shop and in the outdoor seating area.
