Marrickville Pork Roll is famous for its delicious Vietnamese bánh mì pork rolls. They’ve been making these great tasting rolls since 2008.
It starts with a crunchy baguette as the base ingredient, and then they add a spread of pâté, mayonnaise, carrots, onions, coriander, cucumber, shallots, and radish, plus your choice of filling, and chilli is optional.
You can choose from the following fillings: crackling pork belly, bbq pork, pork, chicken, meatballs, tuna, salad or vegetarian.
We usually go to the original Marrickville shop and get the crackling pork belly roll, which is $10 at the time of publishing.
There’s usually a long line around lunchtime, but the line moves pretty quickly as the bánh mì roll makers are very fast at assembling these tasty rolls.
The Marrickville shop opens at 6.45am so you could grab a roll to eat for breakfast if you’re keen.

Due to the popularity of Marrickville Pork Roll’s banh mi’s, they have since opened two more stores around the city so you can now get your pork roll fix, without needing to make a trip out to the original store in Marrickville.
